Got an email from NWY today saying that I finished a runner up in their Valentine’s Day T-shirt Competition. Sadly my work doesn’t feature on a t-shirt but I get a free version of the winning design Tee and my work featured at: NWY Winners
You can see the full version of the work here

The Designers Against Tibetan Abuse Book was featured over at Form Fifty Five (formerly theserif.net)
Massive thanks to Greig Anderson, who if you haven’t seen his work over at effektive then I suggest you head on over now as you’re missing some stunning work. He’s been a big help with the DATA project and has been an amazing friend, so cheers once again

David Arias has kindly featured my work on their website, which you can check out here:

So a big thank you to them but also definitely worth checking out their work, a great studio based in Vancouver, Canada!

Happy New Year to all, and as a special treat I recommend you checkout DA’s work in creating ‘Hunni’s Bucks’

It’s a daring logo that’s for sure!

Phillip Toledano has released a new series of photographs and website called Days with My Father. Stunning imagery and very heartfelt especially if you spend time with it Click Here

An article on the supposed identity of Banksy. I don’t really believe it to be “compelling evidence” as it is described. But worth a read anyway so you can make up your own mind

Sorry for the silence, it’s been a hectic time with some great projects in the pipelines. To quote an upcoming movie about a caped crusader and a villain who will forever cackle his way in pop culture history, “Trust me, I’ll show ya!” (The Joker, The Dark Knight, Warner Brother 2008)
This is a great little article for all us type geeks, so enjoy!
Avant Garde

Just saw an interesting ad on tv for a programme on channel 4 on sunday.
It is all about the unseen horrors of high-street shopping culture, focussing especially on Primark and their use of child labour in Asia. To really open peoples eyes they open their own sweatshop in east london and invite people to try it out
With so many people focussing on fashion for editorial design, I thought this was extremely apt. Having said that I am by no means saying that it wouldn’t have been worth watching otherwise
so I hope you all watch it
